Dark Night of the Scarecrow [Blu-ray]
Frank De Felitta directs this slasher horror starring Charles Durning and Robert F. Lyons. In a small Southern town, Charles 'Bubba' Ritter (Larry Drake) suffers with an intellectual disability and is cast aside by most of the townspeople.
When Marylee Williams (Tonya Crowe) is attacked, the town assume that Bubba is to blame and set upon him to seek bloody vengeance. Bubba's mother, fearing for his life, dresses him up as a scarecrow in the hope of throwing the attackers off the scent. The deception fails however, and Bubba is shot and killed...or is he?
