Wong Jing directs this sequel to John Woo's classic action thriller. Big B (Andy Lau) is travelling aboard the same plane as the Daka Lama (Law Shu-kei) when an assassination attempt is made on the religious leader by a Japanese suicide squad. Both the Daka Lama and B's girlfriend Ling (May Mei-Mei Lo) are wounded and are taken to the same hospital, where it transpires they have the same rare blood type.
