1940s British crime drama based on the novel by James Hadley Chase. Young heiress Miss Blandish (Linden Travers) is kidnapped by a couple of small-time opportunists, only to find herself seized from them by gangster Slim Grissom (Jack La Rue). He is interested in her for more reasons than just the ransom money - and despite her terrifying ordeal, Miss Blandish finds herself perversely attracted to the gang leader, with deadly results.
