Lee Tamahori directs this historical drama starring Guy Pearce. Set in 1930s New Zealand, lay preacher Thomas Munro (Pearce) travels to a British settlement to continue his teachings, however he finds himself stuck in the middle of a war between two Maori tribes. The cast also includes Tioreore Ngatai-Melbourne, Antonio Te Maioho and Lawrence Makoare.
