Feature-length animated adventure following tank engine Thomas (voice of John Hasler) and his locomotive friends. As Thomas prepares to leave the Island of Sodor for the very first time, he embarks on a journey to the mainland where he meets new, experimental engines Merlin (Hugh Bonneville), Lexi (Lucy Montgomery) and Theo (Darren Boyd). The voice cast also includes Rob Rackshaw, Nigel Pilkington and Jim Howick.
