British singer/songwriter Tom Odell released his debut full-length, Long Way Down, following 2012's critically acclaimed EP Songs from Another Love. He was presented with the influential BRITs Critics' Choice award in 2013, which was previously won by such luminaries as Adele (2008) and Florence + the Machine (2009). His piano-led music is achingly heartbreaking, and on atmospheric single "Hold Me," Odell wears his heart firmly on his sleeve with his poignant lyrics. ~ Scott Kerr
