The fondly remembered BBC sitcom Waiting for God finally makes its way to DVD.

Former photo-journalist Diana Trent (Stephanie Cole) and Tom Ballard (Graham Crowden) are a pair of geriatric delinquents residing in the Bayview Retirement Village, under the ambitious eye of Harvey Bains, manager and proprietor. The declining duo spend their time sniping at a world where the young are revered and the elderly are held in contempt, or at least indifference. Diana provides the vitriol and the razor-sharp wit, whereas Tom is a gentler more optimistic soul who rather than facing the realities of life, prefers to dawdle in his self-created fantasy world. Together they make Harvey Bains's life a living hell!
